Our best selling Solo Traveller Borneo tour is the perfect getaway for single travellers wanting to immerse themselves in the wildlife and jungles of Borneo! Starting in Kota Kinabalu you will experience this vibrant Asian city with two nights in a centrally located hotel. Travel overland through the stunning Borneo hinterland, stopping for a night at Mt Kinabalu National Park, enjoying breathtaking views. Delve into WWII history with an included visit to Kundasang War Memorial; dedicated to the Australian soldiers who died in the Sandakan POW camp during their death marches to Ranau.
Continue on to Sepilok to visit the Orangutan and Sunbear sanctuaries. Then, experience the real Borneo with two nights in a jungle lodge set on the banks of the Kinabatangan River. Here you will enjoy relaxing river cruises in search of Pygmy Elephants, wild orangutans, Macaques and more exotic wildlife. Head back to Sandakan and enjoy a visit to a local Fisherman village including a sunset cruise to see thousands of fireflies and dinner on your final night. If you want to stay longer we have a 3 day extension to visit the Turtle Islands National Park.

CHILDREN POLICY:
Children under the age of 2 travel free of charge except airline taxes
Children aged 2-10 at time of travel will require a child voucher:
Children aged 11+ require an adult voucher
Child vouchers only apply if in addition to two full paying adults
Maximum room capacity is 2 adults and 2 children (1 in existing bedding, 1 in extra bed)
AMENDMENTS:
Any amendments are subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions.
Any changes will incur a $100 per person amendment fee PLUS any additional fees applied by the supplier.
All changes must be requested in writing.
No changes can be made within 90 days of departure. The standard cancellation policy will apply.
If unable to select new dates, a credit valid for 12 months may be offered.
CANCELLATION POLICY:

Refunds and credits will be offered in accordance with MyHoliday2’s Refund Policy.
PAYMENT PLANS:

All payment plans incur a 2% surcharge, paid with the deposit.
If the wrong plan is selected, a $25 fee will be charged to manually amend all invoices.

Drivers may assist in organizing expert guides at certain locations.

The timing of group transfers will be set to accommodate the majority of arrival and departure flights.
